Types of visas to Japan

If based on the number of entries into Japan, we can divide it into 2 types: Single-entry Visa and Multiple-entry Visa.

Based on the purpose of the trip, it can be classified into popular types of Japanese visas, including:

• Tourist visa:  maximum duration is 90 days, maximum stay time is 15 days.
• Business visa:  duration from 3 months to 10 years (depending on type) and maximum stay is 90 days.
• Visa to visit relatives:  within 3 months to 5 years, each stay is up to 30 days.
• Student Visa:  Japanese language student visa: up to 2 years. Student visa for graduate and undergraduate programs: from 2-4 years.
• Work visa:  average duration 1-3 years
• Medical visa:  maximum duration is 3 years, can continuously stay, receive treatment … in Japan each time up to 90 days each time

Japan Visa Fees 

The Japan visa application fee   is applicable from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023.

➥ Single time visa: 640,000 VND

➥ Visa 2 times (Visa multiple times): 1,280,000 VND

➥ Transit Visa: 150,000 VND

Entrusted agent applying for Japan visa

There are 13 authorized agents to receive Japanese visa applications: 

• You can ask friends and relatives to pay for it
• The authorized agent has many reception points outside of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City
• The authorized agent is only an intermediary to receive the dossier without making decisions. After the applicant submits the application here, your application will be sent to the consular office for consideration. The entrusting agent will charge a service fee and this fee is non-refundable in the event of a visa refusal.

Time to get Japan visa results

Normally, the processing time is 5 days from the time you submit your application. There are also cases, this time lasts more than 5 days because the application is difficult or unsatisfactory to be corrected.
