HOW TO APPLY FOR KOREA TOURISM VISA QUICKLY

Term of self-sufficient Korean tourist visa

There are two types of tourist visas to Korea: Single visa (single entry visa), Multiple visa (multiple entry visa):

Single visa: This is a visa that allows international visitors to enter Korea only once, with a period of 3 months. When international visitors exit and want to re-enter Korea, they cannot use this type of visa but must apply for a new visa.

– Multiple visa: is a type of visa with diverse durations such as 1 year, 2 years, 3 years… with this type of visa, international visitors can enter or exit Korea many times during the visa’s term. There are two popular types of Multiple Visas: Multiple 5 years Multiple 10 years.

Currently, with a short-term tourist visa, you will be able to stay in Korea  for up to 15 days with a single-entry visa (Single visa), with a multiple-entry visa (Multiple visa) of 30 days. for 5 years and 90 days for 10 years .

Conditions for being granted a self-sufficient tourist visa  to Korea 

  • Prove a clear purpose of the trip, suitable for the type of visa
  • Proof of financial ability for the trip to Korea and back
  • Prove that you will be leaving before the end of the allowed period of stay
  • You meet the health and dignity requirements, have no criminal record
  • You have not violated Korean immigration law in the last 5 years
  • You are not subject to the risk of affecting the interests of Korea

⇒ Family profile:

  • Photo card 4×6, 2 photos (white background, not older than 6 months).
  • Passport (Original, valid for at least 6 months, signed).
  • ID card/CCCD (Copy, notarized).
  • Passport (Copy, notarized all pages).
  • Marriage certificate if the couple is traveling together (Copy, notarized).
  • If accompanied by children: birth certificate or student identification

⇒  Proof of work profile:

  • If you are an employee: Bank statement for the last 3 months, 3 months’ salary slip, labor contract and travel permit to Australia certified by the agency/enterprise.
  • If you are a company owner: Certificate of business registration and tax payment report for the last 3 months.
  • Retired people: Retirement decisions, pension books certified by local authorities.

⇒ Financial documents:

  • Passbook with a balance of at least 5,000 USD (the savings book must be sent for at least 3 months) with salary slips of the last 3 months.
  • If you don’t have a passbook, you can add real estate documents, stocks, real estate, cars (if any), etc.

Note:  If guests already have visas from developed countries, they do not need to prove their finances, including the following countries: USA, UK, Austria, Poland, Belgium, Portugal, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Netherlands, Hungary, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, France, Finland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Italy, Israel, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, United States, Chile, Mexico.

⇒  Trip Schedule

  • A clear and detailed Korean travel schedule (arrival date, return date to Vietnam, intended attractions, sightseeing tickets…).
  • Confirmed return air ticket to Korea and hotel reservation in Korea.
  • If there is a relative in Korea sponsoring their stay, provide information and address at that person’s house.

*Note:  Some Korean visa application documents in Vietnamese need to be translated into Korean or English and fully notarized.

Procedure for applying for a Korean tourist visa

Step 1: Prepare documents

  • Prepare documents according to your case based on the instructions in the “ Documents required ” section above.

Step 2: Make an appointment

  • Make an appointment to submit your application at the Korea Visa Center – KVAC 1.

Step 3: Apply at KVAC 1 –  Korea Visa Application Center in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City

  • Sort records in order
  • Pay the application review fee
  • Register to use the postal service – receive results at home (if needed)

Step 4: Pay the Korean tourist visa application fee

The Korean tourist visa application fee is 20 USD (462,000 VND). The exchange rate will be determined by Wooribank and change from time to time. In addition, you will incur an additional 390,000 application fee at KVAC.

Step 4: Track records and get results

If the application is not incorrect, the time to return the result is 7-10 working days.

Note:  If the application is refused, after 3 months from the date of receiving the notice of visa refusal, you can submit a new application to apply for a Korean visa.
