Some notes when doing food service business
Before doing business, establishments and enterprises must complete the procedures for applying for a Certificate of eligibility for food safety; commonly known as a food safety license.
- For individual business households: The certificate is issued under the authority of the People’s Committee of the district.
- For the scale of over 200 meals or more, the certificate shall be issued by the provincial/municipal food safety sub-department.

This class includes: The activities of providing food service to customers, in which the customer is served or the customer chooses the prepared dishes, which can be eaten on-site or purchased for take-out. This class also includes the preparation, processing and serving of food and beverages in food carts or carts.
