Some notes before applying for an e-Visa
If you want to enter Vietnam with an electronic visa, you are only allowed to import through 9 air border gates, 16 land border gates and 13 seaports of Vietnam according to the List here .
When applying for an e-visa, you need to provide the correct border gate that you want to enter, and you are not allowed to enter at any other border gate. In case you want to change the border gate of entry, you need to apply for a new e-visa or apply for an entry visa at the border gate in the usual way.

Details of the process of applying for an e-visa at the request of a foreigner
Foreigners who apply for an electronic visa shall do the following:
– Access the information page according to the link above to fill in information, download photos and passport ID page at the electronic visa information page;
Note that accurate and mandatory declaration is required for all items marked with a red star on the declaration.
– Receive the electronic application code and pay the visa fee to the account specified in the instructions
– Within 03 working days, the Immigration Department will consider and process the reply sent by registered email
– After 03 days (Our advice is about 5-7 days), you go to the email to use the electronic file code to check the settlement results of the Immigration Department;
Details of the process of applying for an e-visa at the request of an agency or organization
Agencies and organizations that regulate foreigners Applying for a Vietnam e-visa must fully meet the following conditions:
– Have an electronic account issued by the immigration authority according to regulations
Having an electronic signature in accordance with the Law on Electronic Transactions.
* Register for an electronic account in accordance with the following regulations:
– Agencies and organizations send a written request for an electronic account to the immigration authority. The application for an electronic account is only made once, except for the case of content change or cancellation of the account; The electronic account is canceled at the request of the agency or organization having the account; agencies or organizations whose accounts are reorganized, dissolved, bankrupt or violated regulations of law on electronic transactions and immigration management. The immigration management agency cancels the electronic account and sends a written notice to the agency or organization that has the account.
– The immigration authority shall reply in writing and issue an electronic account within 03 working days from the date of receipt of the written request of the agency or organization; in case the electronic account is not granted, a written reply clearly stating the reason.
– Use an electronic account to access the electronic visa information page to apply for an electronic visa for foreigners; pay the visa issuance fee to the account specified on the electronic visa information page after receiving the electronic file code from the immigration authority.
– Immigration management agency considers, settles and responds to agencies and organizations on the electronic visa information page within 03 working days.
– Use the electronic file code sent by email to receive the reply from the immigration authority and notify the foreigner.
Fees for issuing electronic visas for foreigners
The fee for e-visa is 25 USD/person.
Note: Fees will not be refunded if there is an error. Do not apply for a group e-visa.
